Our Sunday morning services from 11:00am, are for all ages and led by our own ministers, our worship leaders, or by visiting ministers.
Children and young people are welcome and with us from the start of the service, then move into their own space for Junior Church.
After the services, coffee is served in the church hall, and we often use this time to help celebrate birthdays and anniversaries of those in the congregation.
We are joined by members of our attached uniformed organisations every 3 months for their parade service.
Our main communion and worship service is at 11:00am on the first Sunday of each month. This is a regular worship service that includes communion, to which all who wish to participate are welcome, whether you are a regular worshipper with us or a visitor.
We also have a shorter communion service from 09:30am on the third Sunday of each month, lasting about 30 minutes. Those who seek a more intimate sharing of communion with prayer and readings may find this more uplifting.
Communion within our church is a shared experience, where we remain seated as plates of bread representing Christ’s body and individual glasses of non-alcoholic grape cordial representing Christ’s blood are passed around. If you do not want to take communion yourself please just pass on to the person next to you.
Each Tuesday morning from 09:30 we have a short service in the foyer of the church.
The format varies from week to week, but may include prayer, readings, hymns, songs, meditation, and reflection. Services may be led by one of our Elders or ministers, and are relaxed and informal.
After the service, we are usually joined by others coming in for our open door coffee mornings, or from the groups using other rooms in the church.
Messy Church is a form of church for children and adults that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality. It’s primarily for people who don’t already belong to another form of church and meets at a time that suits people who don’t already belong to church.
We have Messy Church approximately every two months on Sunday afternoons from 3:30pm – 5:30pm, concluding with a party tea. Exact dates can be found on our What’s On and News pages, or why not Like our Facebook page to get notifications of Messy Church and other events – the link is at the top of the page.
Messy Church is found across the world and you can find all about the organisation and if there’s another Messy Church near you here.
We have popular services, as many Christian churches do, at Christmas and Easter time. For those wanting a more moving experience of Holy Communion, our Tenebrae service on Maundy Thursday is recommended.
We also arrange special services for other regular users of the church, such as our mid-week Advent service and services for our Tuesday afternoon Parent and Toddler group.
